Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks across assigned routes, ensuring timely delivery of freight.
- No touch freight.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems, optimizing delivery schedules while complying with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, inspections, and deliveries in compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any issues promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL A license.
- Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks with a strong understanding of truck systems and safety procedures.
- Proficient in route planning using GPS navigation tools for efficient delivery scheduling.
- Pass a drug screen.
- Good MVR, & be able to scan in loads through email & Genius Scan.
- Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations governing commercial trucking operations.
