J & M Sweet Shoppe is looking for a friendly, dependable, and outgoing person to join our team! We are a locally owned, family-friendly ice cream shop looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes initiative, and provides great customer service.
Duties
- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
- Prepare and serve soft-serve ice cream, cones, cups, shakes, floats, and other menu items
- Operate the register and handle customer transactions
- Keep the shop, counters, tables, and work areas clean and organized
- Restock supplies as needed
- Help with opening and/or closing duties
- Follow food safety and cleanliness procedures
- Work well independently and as part of a small team

Physical Requirements
Applicants should be able to:
- Stand and walk for the majority of the shift
- Bend, reach, and perform routine cleaning tasks
- Lift and carry shop supplies as needed
- Work around commercial ice cream equipment

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
