Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. As a Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating dump trucks and transporting materials to and from construction sites. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Duties:
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, rocks, and other construction materials
- Load and unload materials using the truck's hydraulic system
- Follow safety procedures and traffic laws while driving on public roads
- Inspect the truck before and after each shift to ensure it is in good working condition
- Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor
- Maintain accurate records of materials transported and hours worked
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow on the construction site
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Previous experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy equipment
- Ability to operate heavy equipment is preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of driving and loading/unloading materials
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
