Atlantic Homecare Services is currently seeking qualified and compassionate LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurse) for a Pediatric Homecare case in Newport News. If you are looking to find the perfect balance between work and life, look no further! There is someone available 24/7 on-call to assist any scheduling/emergent needs.
Must be able to operate a hoyer lift, provide incontinence care, g-tube feedings, provide vest treatments and nebulizer treatments.
Patient does have a dog in the home.
**Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-12pm**
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working as a licensed Nurse
- Active Virginia (or other valid compact state nursing license) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
- Current CPR certification through an American Heart Association or American Red Cross accredited course
- Must provide documentation of a negative TB/PPD screening (or Chest X-Ray) obtained within the past year
- Clean Criminal Background Report

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including tube feeding as needed, trach care, ventilator monitoring and total care.
- Conduct patient assessments and maintain accurate health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Administer basic life support and CPR when required, ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Support patients with daily living activities and promote their overall well-being.
