We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Lathe Machinist to join our precision machining team. The Ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes to manufacture high-quality parts to tight tolerances. A strong understanding of blueprint reading, G-code, tooling, and material characteristics is essential. Ability to lift up to 75lbs.

Qualifications
Experience operating CNC lathes, M & G codes, Fanuc controls. Operation and use of inspection, measuring and test equipment. Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings. Strong understanding of machining principles and tooling concepts. Ability to use a variety of precision measurement tools correctly and confidently. Experience with CNC programming or editing a plus. Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to lift 50-75 lbs., and stand for extended periods. High school diploma or equivalent and secondary School in Machining
Preferred Skills
- Manual equipment operation experience. Experience with tight-tolerance parts and exotic materials. Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality environments. Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines, multi-axis machines is a plus. CNC Programming experience in Fusion 360 or other CNC software is a plus.
- Experience with CNC Mills is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Lathes and manual lathes
- Read and interpret part drawings and blueprints
- Select appropriate tools, inserts, and cutting parameters for various materials (steel, aluminum, stainless, etc.).
- Monitor machining operations and adjust feed, speed, and tooling as necessary.
- CNC Lathe experience required.
