Office Staff / Administrative Assistant – Bookkeeping Experience Required
Seeking Full-Time Office Staff (Temp-to-Perm)
Local 164 is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Office Staff / Administrative Assistant with Bookkeeping experience to join our team. This is an on-site, Monday–Friday position supporting daily office operations and member services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping and expense tracking with accurate record keeping
- Data entry and maintenance of financial records
- Face-to-face customer service
- Support daily administrative and office operations
- Utilize office equipment and custom programs
- Assist with audits as needed
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy at all times
Required Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), with strong Excel skills
- SAP knowledge
- Computer literacy and attention to detail
- Time management and teamwork skills
- Professional acumen and strong customer service orientation
- Experience with check fraud protection practices
Qualifications
- Accounting degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of on-site experience as an Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper
- Proven ability to work independently and with auditors
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Local candidates only – must be present on-site, Monday through Friday
- Two professional references required
- Copy of degree(s) and/or certifications required
