American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU (NICU) travel position in Urbana, IL, requiring an active IL RN license and a minimum of one year of nursing experience.

Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)

NICU setting within a hospital environment
-
Neonatal patient population including monitoring intake/output, breastfeeding support, and medication administration via barcode scanning
-
Participates in multi-disciplinary patient rounds
-
5 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule

Holidays covered per rotation

No floating requirements

Active IL RN license in good standing required; temporary license accepted

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)

Current NRP certification (American Heart Association)

Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience required

ASN required; BSN preferred

Epic EMR experience required

Level 1 Trauma experience required

Performs comprehensive patient assessments, develops and modifies individualized care plans, and implements nursing interventions for neonatal patients

Maintains accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation to support the healthcare team

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract

Contingent workers may not remain on assignment for more than 1 continuous year at this health system; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any location within the system
