Plastic Surgery Office seeks a Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant to join our team.
We prefer someone that has experience working in a medical practice and a PLUS if you worked in a plastic surgery practice. The ideal candidate understands customer service and thrives and works well with their co-workers. Also, the Ideal candidate is personable, adaptable, respectful, reliable and flexible as we are a small team and support each other to achieve a high level of patient care. One Saturday on occasion may be required.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performs both clinical and administrative duties that assist in the delivery of patient care.
- Works closely with the lead Certified Medical Assistant and assists with tasks as needed.
- The CMA works closely with patients, the surgeon, surgical consultant, and the outpatient surgical site in the scheduling of surgery process.
- Communication skills (Required) Bilingual preferred.
- You must be computer savvy, a fast learner, and willing to chip in wherever needed since this is a small office.
- We are looking for someone who loves to learn, takes initiative, and can be adaptable within a small office.
Skills/Abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of HIPAA standards.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Punctual.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Detail-oriented
- Able to operate standard office equipment (i.e. computer, fax, copier, scanner, etc)
- Ability to sort and file materials correctly alphabetically or numerically.
Qualifications-
Education and Experience:
- High School Graduate or GED (required).
- 1-3 years recent experience as a Medical Receptionist or Assistant in a clinical or surgical setting (preferred but not necessary).Will train the right candidate.
- Previous experience in Plastics (preferred)

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
