The Industrial Pipe Notch Cutter is responsible for accurately notching, cutting, and preparing metal pipe for fabrication and assembly. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards in a non-climate-controlled industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate pipe notching machines to create precise cuts for pipe assembly.

Measure, mark, and align pipes according to specifications or work instructions.

Inspect completed notches for quality and accuracy.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.

Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Assist in moving, lifting, and staging pipe as needed (up to 75 pounds).

Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.

Perform other general labor duties as assigned

Previous experience operating pipe notching or similar industrial machinery preferred.

Strong attention to detail and precision in cutting and measurements.

Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks.

Familiarity with shop safety practices and PPE requirements.
