Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including personal care, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support patients with medication management, including administration and tracking
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, treatment plans, and progress
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and families to ensure comprehensive care
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of patient rights and dignity, respecting individual preferences and needs
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Nice to have current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) in the state of Delaware
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients according to established guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
