Job Summary
Broadway Equipment Company is a family-owned car wash manufacturer based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, with over 40 years of experience serving car dealerships worldwide. We are currently seeking a full-time field service technician to support our customers in the greater Arlington, TX area. This field service technician role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and building strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a field service technician, you will serve as a trusted representative of our company from the initial installation onward. Following installation, the field service technician will maintain strong customer relationships through monthly preventative maintenance visits and respond to emergency repair needs to keep equipment running efficiently.
This is a remote position, as our company is headquartered in Minneapolis. However, each field service technician will stay closely connected with our in-house service team for troubleshooting support, weekly reporting, and ongoing product training.
Qualifications and Skills
- Our field service technician team members are the face of the company post-installation, so strong communication skills and professionalism are essential.
- Previous field experience is a plus but not required.
- A field service technician should have a basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems, which will be further developed through training.
- The role involves working with large machinery, including lifting parts up to 50 pounds and working at heights of up to 8 feet.
- For safety, candidates must be comfortable working under these conditions.
- No major driving infractions in the last 5 years is required.
Location
This field service technician position will support customers in the greater Arlington, TX area, traveling via a company-provided vehicle. Occasional overnight travel may be required for extended service needs.
