Leasing Coordinator | Asset Management
Conshohocken, PA or York, PA
J.C. BAR Properties is seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Leasing Coordinator to support the leasing and asset management division of J.C. BAR Properties commercial real estate portfolio. This position provides administrative and transactional support to the leasing and asset management team to support efficient execution of leasing activities across the portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective tenants through proactive business development, including cold calling, email outreach, and market networking.
- Track critical dates including lease execution, delivery, rent commencement, option notices, and lease expirations.
- Coordinate tenant build-outs with property management, contractors, architects, engineers, municipalities, and vendors.
- Assist property management division with tenant improvement coordination and project timelines.
- Coordinate with property management to obtain site information, including measurements, ceiling heights, loading specifications, photographs, site inspections, and other property data to support leasing efforts.
- Prepare leasing reports and monitor transaction status.
- Assist with lease amendments, renewals, assignments, estoppels, and other lease documentation.
- Assist with due diligence and documentation for acquisitions and dispositions as requested.
- Provide administrative support to the leasing and asset management team.
- Ability to travel periodically to shopping centers in the Mid-Atlantic.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Active PA real estate license preferred (or ability to obtain one)
- Commercial real estate experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple internal departments and external partners.
- Driver’s license and reliable transport required
- Must be available to travel for onsite visits to shopping centers occasionally
