About Academy of Minimally Invasive Implantology and our guiding principle:
"Doctors own the practice. The platform provides the competitive power.”
The U.S. dental industry is entering a period of rapid and irreversible transformation. Large Dental Support Organizations (DSOs) such as Heartland Dental, Aspen Dental, and Pacific Dental Services are expanding aggressively, leveraging institutional capital, centralized systems, and national-scale operations to capture increasing market share.
These organizations hold structural advantages that individual practices often cannot match, including significant financial resources, nationwide marketing power, and operational efficiencies. As seen in other healthcare segments, independent operators who continue to function in isolation face growing pressure and long-term uncertainty.
At AMII, we believe there is a better path forward.
AMII is not a DSO. We do not acquire clinics or take ownership. Instead, we have built a strategic alliance platform designed to empower independent dentists with the tools, systems, and scale required to compete—while preserving full ownership, autonomy, and clinical control.
Through AMII, partner practices gain access to capabilities typically only available to large organizations, including:
- Corporate level purchasing power
- Integrated marketing and patient acquisition systems
- AI-driven patient-clinic matching technology
- Advanced minimally invasive implant training
- Regional market positioning advantages
One of the core pillars of the AMII platform is our focus on reshaping patient demand through a “pain-free implant” approach. By addressing key patient concerns—such as fear of pain, invasive procedures, and recovery time—we aim to transform how implant care is perceived and sought. As a result, patients increasingly identify and seek out AMII affiliated clinics specifically for this experience.
In addition, our proprietary app-based system creates a continuous, automated patient acquisition pipeline. Through coordinated regional marketing and intelligent clinic matching, patients are seamlessly connected to partner practices, reducing reliance on fragmented and costly individual advertising efforts. AMII also aggregates purchasing across its network, enabling direct access to manufacturer-level pricing on materials, equipment, and supplies. This allows independent practices to operate with cost structures far closer to those of large DSOs.
