Duties
- Perform comprehensive residential cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and organizing living spaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Manage laundry tasks such as washing, folding, ironing, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently
- Prepare nutritious meals according to household preferences and dietary requirements, demonstrating strong cooking skills
- Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or supplies, outdoor work such as gardening or yard maintenance, and floor care including carpet cleaning and polishing
- Maintain cleanliness of all areas using janitorial and custodial techniques while ensuring proper sanitation protocols are followed
- Manage housekeeping schedules, prioritize tasks effectively with excellent time management skills, and coordinate with household members for special requests or events
- Conduct outdoor work as needed for garden upkeep or exterior cleaning tasks to keep the property looking pristine
Skills
- Proven experience in cooking with the ability to prepare a variety of meals that meet dietary needs
- Strong cleaning skills with knowledge of residential cleaning methods, floor care, carpet cleaning, and commercial cleaning techniques
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work responsibilities
- Excellent customer service skills to interact politely and professionally with household members or visitors
- Experience in laundry management and custodial duties within residential or hospitality environments such as hotels or similar settings
- Effective time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Familiarity with janitorial practices, sanitation standards, and housekeeper management strategies
