Position Summary:
The Production Associate is responsible for performing a variety of production duties to support and maintain the manufacturing line. This role involves operating machinery, inspecting parts for defects, maintaining cleanliness, and following established production and safety procedures.
Reporting Relationship:
Reports directly to the Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect parts for defects prior to processing.
Load left-hand (LH) and right-hand (RH) vertical parts into the machine in the correct orientation.
Activate machine switches to clamp and process parts.
Remove completed parts from the unloader after processing.
Maintain cleanliness of the production line and work area.
Follow all safety guidelines, production standards, and company policies.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Knowledge of machine operation and basic production line maintenance.
Understanding of production procedures, cleaning, and minor repair practices.
Knowledge of safe work principles and practices.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to identify issues and communicate solutions.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Education & Experience:
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift, push, or pull items weighing up to 30–40 pounds.
Ability to bend, stretch, and perform repetitive motions as required.
Monday - Friday (some Saturdays) 1st shift 6:30am-5:00pm
Sunday - Thursday (some Fridays) 2nd shift 5:30pm-6:00am
