Reports To
The Driver will be directly responsible to the Student Services Director.
Schedule
This is a school-year position and will follow the Chilton School District student calendar.
Approximately 10 hours per week transporting students using a school van.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Interest in working with students and an understanding of student needs.
- Experience and/or skill in working with students, staff, and the public.
- Hold and maintain a valid Wisconsin driver's license.
- Patient, dependable, and tactful.
- Ability to react quickly and appropriately in various traffic situations.
- Alert, attentive, and possess good eyesight.
- Ability to understand and accurately follow oral and written instructions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Transport students safely to and from school, home, or other designated locations.
- Assist students in riding safely while being transported.
- Stop at designated locations to deliver or pick up mail and other district materials.
- Fuel and maintain the cleanliness of the assigned vehicle.
- Follow all district transportation procedures and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the district.

Traffic violations may jeopardize continued employment.
Pay: $17.03 - $20.03 per hour
