About the Role
FleetPride is seeking a Diesel Technician III — a senior-level technician with the experience and confidence to diagnose, repair, and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues independently. This role supports medium- and heavy-duty equipment, including tractors, trailers, and box trucks, in a high-volume shop environment.
As a Level III technician, you’ll be trusted with advanced diagnostics, major component repairs, and mentoring of junior technicians — without being tied to nights or weekends.

What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of diesel technician experience (MD/HD preferred)
- Proven ability to perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs with minimal supervision
- Experience mentoring or guiding other technicians
- Strong communication with service managers, writers, and customers
- Ability to provide your own tools and toolbox
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- CDL A or B preferred (not required)
- Safety-focused, detail-oriented, and highly efficient work ethic
Advanced Technical Expertise
- Electrical diagnostics & schematic interpretation
- Advanced air brake systems
- Brakes, wheel ends, and suspension
- Steering & alignment
- Cooling and A/C systems
- Drivetrain diagnostics & repairs
- Transmissions, clutches, differentials
- Aftertreatment systems (DPF, DEF, SCR)
- Upper & lower engine work
- OEM diagnostic software familiarity
- DOT inspections and compliance
