Title: Administrative Assistant (Receptionist)
Supervisor: Program Director
Purpose: To assist clinical and support staff by alleviating administrative duties while maintaining and managing the reception area, and providing assistance to clients, staff, and external agencies.
1. Check in Clients and make sure all required documentation and manual and electronic signatures are collected and filed electronically.
2. Collect and update Demographic data for new and existing clients.
3. Process lab orders for all ei. evaluations, Dr. and as needed (per request) for clinical staff.
4. Verify insurance for each client for each date of service.
5. Update and monitor the client roster.
6. Track client attendance by updating the attendance tracker.
7. Print and provide daily encounters to clinical staff for the next day.
8. Update and maintain the schedule for all scheduled appointments.
9. Sort and distribute any incoming mail.
10. Answer all incoming calls and connect them with the appropriate individual/clinician.
11. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalency, preferably with a concentration in business subjects
- Some college coursework preferred
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience and three years of general work experience
- Shorthand skills and ability to type
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
