In your role at CubeSmart Self-Storage, you will be required to manage and maintain your property.
The Custodian is responsible for:

Keeping a clean and safe storage facility to ensure the condition meets company guidelines. (Changing lightbulbs, landscaping, parking, paving, fence, walls, doors, painting)

Providing upkeep of the appearance of the building and property by sweeping hallways, stairs, and storage spaces, including restroom areas.

Cleaning vacated units on a timely basis and preparing units for future rentals.

Reporting maintenance requirements, potential equipment failures and unsafe conditions to management.

Conducting daily storage unit inspections; confirming inventory availability and ensuring spaces are ready to be rented.

You’d be great in this role if you can:

Work independently with minimal supervision.

Communicate and interact professionally with teammates and customers.

Make basic repairs; use handheld tools and equipment.

You must have the ability to work Saturdays.

While performing the duties of this job, you will be frequently required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.

On occasion, you may need to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

You may be required to travel daily to and from other facilities for various tasks as directed.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour depending on experience plus bonus opportunities
- Some locations may require Sunday hours
