Driver / Porter Twisted Torch Harley-Davidson Position Summary
The Driver/Porter is a key member of the Twisted Torch Harley-Davidson team, responsible for safely transporting motorcycles, maintaining dealership appearance, and ensuring every customer's motorcycle is treated with the same care and respect as our own.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys riding motorcycles, takes pride in attention to detail, and understands that first impressions matter. Whether delivering a motorcycle, assisting the service department, or preparing the showroom, the Driver/Porter plays an essential role in creating an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities Motorcycle Transportation
- Safely transport customer and dealership motorcycles using company trucks and trailers.
- Load, unload, and properly secure motorcycles for transport.
- Perform customer pickup and delivery services professionally and on schedule.
- Conduct pre- and post-transport inspections and document motorcycle condition.
- Maintain a safe driving record while representing Twisted Torch Harley-Davidson.
Dealership Support
- Move motorcycles throughout the dealership as needed.
- Assist with receiving new motorcycles and preparing showroom inventory.
- Keep motorcycles clean, fueled, and presentation-ready.
- Help organize showroom, parking lot, and inventory displays.
- Assist with dealership events, demo rides, and promotional activities.
Service Department Support
- Assist technicians and service advisors with moving motorcycles.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe service area.
- Deliver completed motorcycles to customers with care and professionalism.
- Support daily operations to ensure efficient workflow.
Facility & Grounds
- Maintain dealership cleanliness inside and outside.
- Keep customer parking areas, sidewalks, and entrances clean and inviting.
- Perform light maintenance and general porter duties as assigned.
- Report facility or equipment issues promptly.
Required Qualifications Required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Current motorcycle endorsement (required).
- Ability to confidently ride a wide variety of Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
- Ability to safely operate pickup trucks while towing motorcycle trailers.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and maneuver motorcycles safely.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
Preferred
- Previous powersports, automotive, or dealership experience.
- CDL is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
