expressed® is a cold-pressed juice brand produced in-house by Drinks LLC, a 13-year-old Miami beverage distributor. Our juice is pressed fresh, HPP-processed for safety and shelf life, and delivered cold to restaurants, hotels, cafés and retailers throughout Florida
The role
We're hiring a Production Lead to run our juice kitchen — the person responsible for what gets pressed, how much, how clean, and how well it's documented. You'll lead a small production crew and own food safety and quality on the floor.
What you'll do
- Lead daily juice production: produce prep, washing/sanitizing, pressing, batching, blending and filling
- Set and run the daily production schedule against orders and forecast
- Supervise, train and schedule the production crew
- Own food safety on the floor: execute and document our HACCP plan, SSOPs, sanitation schedules, allergen controls and CCP monitoring
- Manage lot coding and traceability records to meet FSMA 204 requirements
- Coordinate product transfers to and from our HPP co-processor and verify processing records on return
- Track yields, waste and cost per batch; flag variances
- Manage raw produce receiving, inspection, rotation and cold storage
- Run quality checks — Brix, pH, temperature, sensory, fill weights — and hold product that doesn't meet spec
- Maintain equipment: daily cleaning, preventive maintenance, coordinating service calls
- Keep the facility inspection-ready at all times
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in food or beverage production, with at least 1 year leading a crew or shift
- Working knowledge of HACCP and GMPs — HACCP certification preferred (we'll certify the right candidate)
- Strong sanitation discipline and comfort with documentation and record-keeping
- Reliable early-morning availability
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work in cold, wet environments
- Food Handler / ServSafe certification (or willing to obtain)
Nice to have
- Experience with commercial juicing or cold-press equipment
- Familiarity with HPP (high pressure processing)
- Experience preparing for third-party or FDA audits
