Join our dynamic team as an Air Duct Cleaning Technician and become a vital part of creating healthier indoor environments! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining air duct systems in commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will help improve air quality, boost HVAC efficiency, and ensure safety standards are met. This position offers a hands-on experience with outdoor work, heavy lifting, and industrial cleaning processes, all while supporting a cleaner, healthier space for clients.
Responsibilities
- Use ladders safely to access high or hard-to-reach ductwork and ventilation systems.
- Perform thorough cleaning of air ducts using specialized tools and industrial cleaning equipment.
- Handle manual tasks such as removing debris, dust, mold, and other contaminants from duct systems.
- Conduct outdoor inspections of ventilation units and ductwork to identify issues or blockages.
- Operate fire extinguishers confidently in emergency situations following safety protocols.
- Assist with heavy lifting of equipment and materials necessary for cleaning projects.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including before-and-after photos and inspection reports.
Experience
- Prior experience in industrial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with ladder use and manual handling techniques ensures safe work practices.
- Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions enhances your ability to adapt on the job.
- Knowledge of fire safety procedures and use of fire extinguishers is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during equipment setup or debris removal.
