Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaning Professional to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across commercial spaces. Your attention to detail and commitment to sanitation will ensure our residents enjoy pristine surroundings every day. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your cleaning expertise while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, rewarding setting.
Hours: 2 hours daily – 6 days a week (May 1st through the Labor Day off on Wednesday) 5 days a week (beginning the day after Labor Day until April 30 Day off Wednesday and Thursday); Total hours, typically, not to exceed 12 hours a week.
Duties
- Clubhouse Main Room – Walk through and straighten sofas, chairs, and tables. Turn off all lights and fans. Clean up any obvious mess.
- Game Room – Walk through and straighten all work out machines, games, and chairs. Put away all game equipment including, but not limited to, pool cues, ping pong paddles, and balls, etc. Clean up any obvious mess. Wipe down workout equipment.
- Library - Walk through and straighten sofas, chairs, and tables. Turn off all lights and fans. Clean up any obvious mess. Straighten and/or pick up all magazines, books, and jigsaw puzzles.
- Restrooms and Shower Rooms – Wipe down all sinks, chrome, paper towel holders, and soap dispensers. Clean any obvious mess. Check paper towels, soap dispenser, and toilet tissue. Refill if necessary. Check and clean any obvious mess in stalls, urinals, and shower areas. Mop Men’s Restroom. Mop Women’s Restroom.
- Breezeway – Check for and pick up any trash, cigarette butts, cans, etc. Clean any obvious problems.
- Pool Area – Straighten all tables and chairs. Wipe down any dirty tables and chairs. Pick up any trash in the pool and picnic area.
- Kitchen – Check daily and clean all appliances and sweep and mop floor as needed. Clean sink and wipe down counters as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or janitorial cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping management is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects comfortably.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
- Outstanding customer service abilities with clear communication skills for client interaction.
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior areas when required.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, dusting techniques, and overall sanitation standards is essential.
