We are looking for a dental assistant to join our team in early August 2026! We are private, one doctor practice, and are open Monday to Thursday in Fort Collins, CO. The right candidate should be comfortable in assisting the doctor in composites, crown/bridge, implant crowns, root canals, removable dentistry, and some oral surgery. Experience with Dentrix and Dexis a plus!
We are looking for an experienced dental assistant (prefer a minimum 1 year as chairside asst.) Pay is dependent on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring models and trimming impressions
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-Ray certification
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in infection control protocols and practices
- Ability to perform patient assessments and take vital signs
- Experience with dental software (Dentrix) is preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
