Marketing Assistant (Unpaid Internship / Trade Opportunity)Overview
Endless Fitness is looking for a creative, motivated, and dependable Marketing Assistant who is interested in gaining real-world marketing experience in the fitness industry. This is an unpaid internship/trade opportunity that offers a complimentary gym membership in exchange for your time and contributions.
This position is ideal for college students, recent graduates, or aspiring marketing professionals looking to build their portfolio, strengthen their resume, and gain hands-on experience working directly with a growing local business. We're also open to individuals who live nearby and are passionate about fitness and marketing and would like to use their skills while enjoying the benefits of a gym membership.
You'll work closely with our management team to help grow the Endless Fitness brand through social media, digital marketing, community outreach, and promotional campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across social media and digital platforms.
- Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media channels.
- Design graphics, promotional materials, and marketing content using Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Capture photos and videos inside the gym for social media, advertisements, and promotional campaigns.
- Assist with email marketing, promotions, and community outreach.
- Monitor social media engagement and recommend ideas to increase brand awareness.
- Analyze campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights.
- Write captions, blog posts, newsletters, and promotional copy that align with the Endless Fitness brand.
- Help promote gym events, membership specials, and community initiatives.
- Collaborate with management to brainstorm creative marketing ideas that attract new members.
Qualifications
- Current college student, recent graduate, or someone looking to gain practical marketing experience preferred.
- Interest in marketing, communications, business, graphic design, or a related field.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and current trends.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design software is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Passion for fitness, health, and community engagement is a bonus.
