We continue to grow and currently looking for a detail-oriented, bilingual professional to join our Operations team in the Ordering / Purchasing department.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Bilingual Ordering / Purchasing Specialist to manage the procurement and ordering process for windows, doors, and related products. This role is critical to ensuring timely, accurate orders, smooth project execution, and strong relationships with Sales Reps, Operations team, manufacturers and suppliers. The ideal candidate has industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Place and track orders with window & door manufacturers and suppliers (including but not limited to PGT, Sparta, and others)
- Quote preparation
- Configure and verify window/door specifications, measurements, and options to ensure order accuracy
- Coordinate with Sales, Estimating, Operations, and Warehouse teams to meet project timelines
- Manage supplier relationships
- Handle order confirmations, changes, cancellations, and expedites as needed
- Request for Time-Designs on doors & coordinate the schedule with the installer
- Resolve discrepancies with manufacturers, vendors, and internal teams
- Maintain accurate records in CRM / ordering systems, email and support permitting/inspection processes
- Assist with cost analysis, lead times, and product availability reporting
- Contribute to process improvements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) – fluent in both written and verbal communication (required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendors
- Window & door manufacturer training a plus
- Experience or solid understanding of window and door products, configurations, manufacturers, and suppliers (highly preferred)
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning industry-specific software/CRM
- Prior experience in purchasing, ordering, or supply chain in the construction/home improvement industry is a strong plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
