Leasing Agent

Summary of Position
The Leasing Agent will be responsible for managing all aspects of leasing, from showing available units to potential residents to closing lease agreements. This position plays a key role in maintaining the complex's occupancy rates and ensuring that all residents have a positive living experience.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct property tours: Show available apartments to prospective residents and provide detailed information about floor plans, amenities, and the neighborhood.
- Lead generation and marketing: Generate new leads through calls, email follow-ups, and advertising. Assist in implementing marketing strategies to drive traffic to the property.
- Lease negotiation and paperwork: Handle the leasing process from application to lease signing. Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.
- Follow up with prospects: Regularly follow up with prospective residents who have expressed interest or have toured the property.
- Customer service: Respond to inquiries from current and potential residents, addressing concerns, and providing solutions in a professional and friendly manner.
- Maintain leasing office: Ensure the leasing office is organized and professional, with up-to-date property information and promotional materials.
- Market analysis: Stay informed about market trends, rental prices, and competitor properties to ensure competitive pricing and leasing strategies.
- Resident retention: Assist with resident relations and renewal programs to encourage long-term residency.
- Assist in administrative tasks: Perform clerical duties related to leasing, including filing, tracking lease renewals, and maintaining resident records.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least one year of previous experience leasing in Class A multifamily building.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
- Familiarity with property management software is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
