American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of vascular IR experience for a 13-week cardiac interventional radiology assignment.

Provide imaging support in the OR working vascular interventional radiology cases
-
13-week contract assignment
-
Day shift, 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
-
Rotating call required every 4th week
-
Hybrid OR and special procedures work settings
-
Uses Siemens imaging equipment and ultrasound
-
Minimum 2 years of experience required
-
Current BLS and ARRT (VI) certifications required
-
VA license required if applicable, pending license accepted with active license in another state
-
Trauma Level I experience preferred

BSN preferred
-
Experience with vascular studies/procedures required, including EVAR, TEVAR, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and upper/lower extremity angiography
-
Preferred skills include angioplasty, carotid stenting, and thrombolysis/thrombectomy

Experience prepping access sites and using vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) preferred

Must be able to float within scope of practice as needed

Perform vascular imaging support for interventional radiology and hybrid OR procedures

Assist with endovascular interventions including EVAR, TEVAR, and thrombectomy procedures

Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of the facility

Maximum of 40 hours RTO per 13-week contract, must be disclosed at time of consideration

Any pre-start vacation time must be disclosed to arrange an appropriate start date

Previous UVA Health employees must have a 1-year separation and leadership approval before returning as a traveler

External travelers cannot exceed 365 total assignment days and are not eligible to return once this threshold is reached
