This is a 12-month Limited Term position; may be extended up to 24 months and/or may become permanent.

This position is with the Policy and Compliance Unit is responsible for developing standards, procedures and assistance with policies to maintain quality-nursing services with primary emphasis on the physical care needs of residents in all licensed facilities.

Special Requirements

The SOQ serves as documentation of your ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. 1. Develop and implement program standards to promote optimal program outcomes.

2. Develop and implement consistency of standards in support of state veteran home program, to include development of tools and resources to promote optimal program outcomes, program effectiveness, and quality improvement.

3. Work collaboratively and efficiently communicate with the state veteran home teams of nursing, physicians, dietitians, and pharmacists to share best practices and discuss regulatory standards to ensure program compliance.

4. Provide guidance and support to a statewide team of nurses on the clinical operations for a state veteran home.
