Content Creator (Social Media)
Spartan Composites is looking for a creative and motivated Content Creator to produce engaging content for all our social media platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong artistic eye, understands current social media trends, and can create high-quality photo and video content using both mobile devices and professional equipment, including drones.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Create and publish engaging content across all social media platforms 2–3 times per week or more if needed.
- Capture high-quality photos and videos using smartphones, professional cameras, and drones
- Plan, shoot, and edit short-form and long-form video content
- Develop creative concepts aligned with our brand identity
- Stay up to date with social media trends and platform best practices
- Collaborate with the marketing/team to plan content calendars
- Ensure consistent brand voice and visual style across platforms
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 2–3+ years of experience managing and creating content for social media
- Proven ability to create engaging, high-quality photo and video content
- Experience using professional cameras and drone equipment
- Proficiency in editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Vimeo and any editing tools)
- Excellent written communication and caption-writing skills
- Understanding of social media algorithms, engagement strategies, and growth tactics
- Creative mindset with a strong sense of art, composition, and storytelling
- Ability to work independently
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Portfolio of previous social media work required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience growing social media accounts organically
- Knowledge of analytics and performance tracking
- Basic graphic design skills
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time, viewing computer screens and performing repetitive movements
Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
