What You’ll Do
Front Desk and Patient Experience
- Welcome patients with a warm, professional, and upbeat presence.
- Check patients in and out efficiently.
- Answer phones and respond to patient questions with clarity and kindness.
- Create a positive first impression for new and returning patients.
- Help patients feel supported, informed, and cared for throughout their visit.
Scheduling and Calendar Management
- Schedule evaluations, follow-up visits, and ongoing appointments.
- Convert incoming calls, referrals, and inquiries into scheduled appointments.
- Maintain an organized and efficient clinic schedule.
- Follow up with patients to reduce cancellations and improve attendance.
- Communicate schedule changes clearly with patients and the clinical team.
Insurance Verification and Authorizations
- Verify insurance benefits and patient coverage.
- Obtain authorizations when needed.
- Explain copays, deductibles, and payment expectations clearly.
- Help patients understand their next steps without feeling overwhelmed.
- Support accurate billing and collections processes.
EMR, Documentation, and Office Support
- Enter and update patient information accurately in the EMR.
- Keep patient records organized and complete.
- Use office tools such as TheraOffice, Excel, and Google Workspace.
- Support communication with providers, referrals, and internal team members.
- Help keep the front office running smoothly each day.
You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Have experience in a healthcare front desk, physical therapy clinic, or similar patient-facing setting.
- Have worked as a front desk receptionist, patient care coordinator, medical receptionist, or healthcare administrative assistant.
- Communicate with confidence, warmth, and professionalism, especially over the phone.
- Are familiar with insurance verification, scheduling, billing support, and EMR systems.
- Can stay organized and calm in a busy clinic environment.
- Enjoy helping people and creating a positive patient experience.
- Are comfortable working onsite in a full-time role.
- Are able to work evening shifts at least 2 to 3 days per week.
- Want a role that blends customer service, organization, communication, and patient care impact.
What’s In It for You
Pay: $22 to $24 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule: Full-time, onsite.
- Monday through Friday.
- Morning and evening shifts.
- Some shifts are 8am to 4pm.
- Some shifts are 12pm to 8pm.
- Must be able to work evening shifts at least 2 to 3 days per week.
