Work collaboratively with your Mandarin Co-Teacher to make young children become bilingual and multilingual in a play-based classroom environment. You will speak to and play with the children in Spanish, and they will acquire language skills from you! We will give you lots of coaching. Morningside PlayCare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated person to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish, love young children and enjoy working as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in implementing engaging learning and play activities.
- Provide care and supervision for young children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that enhance their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Help with curriculum development by contributing ideas for lessons on Latin culture.
- Communicate effectively with parents.
- Maintain an engaging classroom environment.
Experience
- Be fluent in Spanish.
- Love young children.
- Have a BA in early childhood or related field.
- Be eligible to work in the U.S. We will sponsor a qualified person for a work visa.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
