Responsibilities
- Assist with interpreting construction plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications.
- Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, and positioning materials safely and efficiently.
- Operate power tools and equipment, conducting routine repairs and maintenance as needed to keep tools in optimal condition.
- Implement erosion control measures to protect the environment and maintain site stability throughout construction activities.
- Follow all workplace safety regulations, including OSHA standards, respiratory protection protocols, and climbing safety procedures.
- Support heavy lifting operations by coordinating with team members to move materials safely around the site.
- Contribute to the installation of erosion control barriers and other environmental protection measures on-site.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in industrial or general construction environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations, including OSHA safety standards and respiratory protection requirements.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience repairing or maintaining equipment used on-site.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, climbing, manual handling, and working in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with the use of power tools and hand tools essential for construction tasks.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety practices and environmental protection measures.

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
