Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Assembly, Packaging & Shipping Associate to join our growing production team. You’ll be responsible for assembling device components, performing basic testing, packaging finished products, and preparing shipments for customers and beta testers across the U.S. and worldwide.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a startup that values with precision, quality control, and fast-paced fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble SmartTract Go units (attach cylinder, sleeve, tubing, and internal components)
- Perform visual and functional quality checks before packaging
- Apply product labels, serial numbers, and safety seals
- Package accessories, manuals, and chargers neatly and securely
- Use shipping software (UPS, USPS, or PirateShip) to print labels and process orders
- Maintain clean, organized workspace and inventory of parts
- Report low stock or defective components to supervisor
- Occasionally assist in firmware flashing or device testing (training provided)
Qualifications
- High attention to detail and consistent quality control
- Basic knowledge of small parts assembly (electronics, packaging, or similar)
- Comfortable using a computer for label printing and shipment tracking
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated to learn
- Prior experience in assembly, warehouse, fulfillment, or shipping preferred but not required — training provided
