Touching Heart (www.touchingheart.com) is a Northern Virginia based nonprofit that inspires children and teens to become compassionate leaders through hands-on service projects that make a difference in their communities. Since 2009, we have empowered thousands of young people to discover the joy of giving while developing leadership and empathy.
Position Summary
Touching Heart is seeking a part-time Development Manager/Fundraiser to grow financial support through individual giving, corporate sponsorships, grants, and community partnerships. The ideal candidate is a relationship-builder with a proven ability to cultivate donors, secure funding, and expand fundraising opportunities.
Responsibilities
· Cultivate relationships with donors, businesses, and community partners.
· Secure corporate sponsorships and charitable contributions.
· Research, write, and manage grants.
· Plan fundraising campaigns and donor outreach.
· Grow annual and recurring giving.
· Represent Touching Heart at networking and community events.
· Work with the Executive Director to achieve fundraising goals.
Qualifications
· Experience in fundraising, development, donor relations, business development, or sales.
· Proven success securing donations, sponsorships, grants, or partnerships.
· Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
· Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
· Remote position; must be located in Northern Virginia area for meetings and networking.
