Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Construction Managers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of construction projects, contributing to the successful completion of residential, commercial, agricultural, industrial, institutional, restoration and renovation jobs. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material organization
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling structures
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate construction according to specifications
- Install rebar, formwork, and concrete structures including pouring, finishing, and cutting concrete as required
- Erect metal buildings, including primary steel, secondary steel, insulation, siding and wall liner panel, roof and ceiling liner panels.
- Perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment such as tele-handlers and skid steers in accordance with safety regulations
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
Qualifications
- Proven experience working on construction projects with a solid understanding of construction site operations
- Proven experience leading teams of construction workers, and coordinating with estimating staff and project management staff
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools, equipment, and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and cutting techniques
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret construction plans effectively
- Skills in carpentry including framing, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and roof installation
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently; experience with heavy machinery a plus
- Understanding of construction safety regulations including OSHA standards or equivalent safety protocols
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights (roofing), or in confined spaces (restoration)
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or site transportation if required
