- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of sixty (60) credit hours from an accredited post-secondary institution or career technical facility, or an Associate’s Degree, or successful completion of the ParaPro assessment.
- Required Certifications: Mandt certification
- Prior experience working with children preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Understanding of Title IX: Basic knowledge of federal laws prohibiting sex discrimination and sexual harassment in education.
- Confidentiality: Strict adherence to privacy laws (FERPA) while ensuring required disclosures to the Title IX Coordinator are made.
- Professionalism: Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administration, and parents to support the student.
- Skills: Strong collaboration skills are needed to work with teachers, therapists, and families in an inclusive environment.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
- Local travel within the school division may be required
