Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Wheelchair Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently, ensuring a high level of customer service throughout the journey. This role requires friendly communication skills, the ability to maintain a clean and organized vehicle, and a commitment to safety.
Duties
- Safely operate a van to transport passengers to various destinations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle, performing regular inspections and getting maintenance as needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, providing assistance and information regarding routes and schedules.
- Assist passengers from their homes and into their appointments.
- Ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or inquiries from passengers during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel usage, and passengers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Van Driver or in a similar role such as Delivery Driver, Limousine Driver, or Bus Driver is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers with their belongings.
- Valid chauffeur driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and routes is advantageous.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess strong organizational skills.
- A commitment to safety protocols and procedures while driving is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
