Do you love video games, robotics, Dungeons & Dragons, or exploring new technology? Do you enjoy working with kids and helping them build confidence through creativity?
We are hiring a part-time STEM Instructor to join our growing team.
About the Role
We run engaging after-school STEM programs where students learn to code by creating their own video games. We also teach robotics, explore artificial intelligence concepts (like using it as a tool and safely), mod Minecraft, and incorporate collaborative games like D&D to build problem-solving and social skills.
Our environment is intentionally neurodivergent-friendly. We prioritize patience, flexibility, and creating a space where all students feel safe, capable, and valued.
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong rapport with children
- Playful but responsible
- Calm and adaptable in busy or high-energy situations
- Passionate about sparking curiosity and confidence
No STEM experience is required. We provide training on all curriculum and technical content. We are primarily hiring for personality, reliability, and a genuine desire to work with kids.
Applicants must be 18 years or older. This position includes training toward becoming a key carrier for responsible team members.
Schedule
- School Year: Afternoons and some weekends
This role is ideal for college students, aspiring educators, creatives, gamers, and anyone who believes learning should feel engaging and empowering.
If you’re excited about helping kids build games, code robots, and discover what they’re capable of, we’d love to hear from you!
