We’re looking for a Plummer Pipefitter Master. In this role you will perform highly skilled, technical installations, repairs and modification to all plumbing systems including above and below ground, low- and high-pressure steam, gas and water systems for a large state agency complex, using multiple trades skills (plumbing, welding, insulating, pipefitting).
One year of the required experience for the following minimum qualifications must have been on-the-job experience:
Three years of experience or training in pipefitting, steam fitting, or plumbing.

Job Duties:

Perform repairs, troubleshooting and modification to above and below systems including tunnel installations

Perform on high- and low-pressure gas, steam, and water systems

Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to domestic and commercial hot water heaters and boilers to insure they are within code and insurance specifications

Assembles various metal and plastic pressure and sewage piping using threaded joints, soldering techniques, clamps, bonds, leaded joints, etc.

Performs work in all phases of insulation and welding

Repairs fire mains and installs kicker blocks and valves according to specifications

Calibrates and adjust controls on steam and hot water sterilizers

Maintains and installs medical air lines, vacuum lines, nitrous oxide and oxygen systems
