Full Job Description

POSTING DATE: June 2, 2026

POSITION: Varsity Boys Tennis Coach – Fall Season

REPORTS TO: Athletic Director and Building Principal

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous coaching experience preferred
Philosophy consistent with Williamston High School’s educational goals
Able to take direction and make mature decisions
Flexible schedule, available to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends
Ability to work effectively with young student-athletes
Sport Specific Knowledge
Leadership qualities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assume responsibilities associated with the role of a coach
Organize and conduct practices during the season
Communicate effectively and as directed with coaches and Athletic Director
Provide leadership
Be supportive of high school academic, behavioral, and building policies
Supervision of athletes

SALARY: Per Master Agreement (2026-27 WEA contract is ratified, but pending publication)

STARTING DATE: 26-27 Boys Tennis Season
