American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Austin, TX, requiring ACLS/BLS and at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience, with on-call responsibilities and a Monday–Friday day schedule.

Located in the Cardiac Cath Lab department of a hospital setting in Austin, TX

8-bed unit staffed with a team of RNs and CV techs

Procedures include cardiac catheterizations, PCI, peripheral procedures, and pacemaker and defibrillator implants

Utilizes cardiovascular invasive equipment
-
EMR: Meditech
-
Monday–Friday day shift, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
-
On-call required from 3:00 PM–6:30 AM on weekdays, and 48-hour on-call coverage on weekends (approximately 10–12 call days per week)

Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)

Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience required

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
