Job Summary

Duties
- Safely ascend trees using climbing gear and techniques to perform pruning, trimming, or removal as needed
- Operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts to access hard-to-reach areas efficiently and securely
- Implement rigging procedures for safe removal or pruning of large branches or trees
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, and general upkeep of outdoor spaces
- Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to map and document tree locations and health status
- Assist with arboricultural assessments by inspecting tree health and identifying potential hazards
- Support landscaping projects by planting new trees, shrubs, or other greenery in accordance with design plans
Requirements
- Proven growing experience in tree care, horticulture, or landscape maintenance with a strong understanding of plant health and growth patterns
- Demonstrated ability to climb trees safely using proper rigging techniques and climbing gear
- Experience operating bucket trucks, bucket lifts, and other aerial equipment such as cranes or cherry pickers
- Knowledge of rigging procedures for safe tree removal or branch management
- Familiarity with GIS software for mapping and documenting landscape features
- Basic lawn care skills including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control
- Strong physical fitness with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
- Valid certifications related to tree care or arboriculture are preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary safety certifications is required
