Catering Manager
Pay: $25/hour (based on experience) + 10% commission on self-generated catering sales from outreach
Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday with occasional weekend based on business needs
Position Overview:
Our restaurant is looking for a highly organized, customer-focused Catering Manager to lead and grow our catering program while also supporting occasional day-to-day restaurant operations when needed.
This role primarily focuses on catering sales, coordination, customer communication, and execution. The ideal candidate is proactive, personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing administrative work with hands-on operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
Catering Management (Primary Focus)
* Manage all incoming catering inquiries, orders, and follow-up communication
* Conduct outreach to generate new catering business and build community relationships
* Coordinate catering logistics, scheduling, packaging, and execution
* Ensure all catering orders are accurate, timely, and meet company standards
* Maintain strong customer relationships through excellent communication and service
* Track catering leads, sales, and repeat business opportunities
* Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth execution* Deliver catering order occasionally
Qualifications:
* Previous customer service experience required
* Experience with email communication and professional correspondence required
* POS system experience preferred
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills
* Ability to work independently and take initiative
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
* Restaurant or catering experience preferred
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment* Reliable car
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
