Job Description:
Stone Transport is hiring experienced, motivated & reliable full time Class A CDL End Dump Drivers to join our team as an immediate hire. This position is Home Daily! Tuesday-Saturday, Sunday available if interested - OR - Sunday-Thursday, Fridays available if interested; start time between 3:00am and 6:00 am, 11-13 hours per day.
Drivers will be doing loads of scrap metal out of Flint or Pontiac going to one of the following locations:
- Delta, OH
- Detroit, MI
- Monroe, MI.
If plant volume is low they will run scrap out of the Lansing yard or from a customer to various locations. After delivering these to these locations the driver will backhaul 1 or 2 loads to get back to Flint. The commodity hauled on these backhauls will be aggregates or shredder fluff. Drivers will be subject to scrap yards, Landfills, Jobsites and Batch plants.
Equipment:
Multi axle walking Floor and 7 axle end dump
Heavy duty 18 speed tractors
TWIC/Passport/Enhanced License to run into Canada is a plus!! We have a bi-weekly (at most) load that runs to Brampton Ontario in a 2 axle walking floor
Pay Structure:
- Hourly pay + OT after 40 hours!
- Weekly paychecks!
Bonus Opportunities:
- $3000 Retention Bonus!
- $150 Inspection Bonus (no limit)
Requirements:
- Must be able to drive an 18 speed manual truck

Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year Class A driving experience
- MANDATORY 1 YEAR TRAINS EXPERIENCE
- Parking in Pontiac
- Must live within 30 minutes/miles of parking
Wage Range: 1700.00 - 2400.00 per week
