Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements, linens, and service ware
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Assist with food handling, food preparation, and replenishing stations as needed to ensure smooth service flow
- Provide attentive guest services by addressing needs, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Buss tables efficiently during and after events, maintaining a tidy dining environment
- Manage beverage service including wine knowledge, drink pairing suggestions, and operating POS systems for orders
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or catering is preferred; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- Knowledge of food service operations, beverage service, and basic math for order accuracy
- Familiarity with wine knowledge and drink service techniques
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads comfortably
- Experience with POS systems and food safety regulations is advantageous
- A positive attitude with excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
