Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide friendly, professional assistance throughout their visit
- Manage restaurant reservations using table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating arrangements
- Answer incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assist with reservation inquiries, and handle guest questions effectively
- Coordinate with the serving staff to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of service
- Maintain organized waitlists and monitor restaurant capacity to adhere to safety and food safety standards
- Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a positive dining atmosphere
- Support overall restaurant operations through excellent communication skills and organizational abilities
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Host or in a hospitality-related role is preferred, especially with restaurant reservation management and guest services
- Strong communication skills, including clear phone communication and professional phone etiquette
- Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and billing procedures
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
