We're opening a new locally owned Batteries Plus store in West Ocean City and are looking for an energetic, customer-focused Sales Associate to join our founding team.

Every day is different; you'll help customers solve problems, recommend the right power solutions, assist with device repair services, and support local businesses that rely on us to keep their operations running.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to every customer who walks through the door
- Help customers find batteries, lighting, phone accessories, chargers, key fobs, and other power solutions
- Learn Batteries Plus product lines and confidently recommend the best solutions for customer needs
- Process sales accurately using our point-of-sale system
- Receive inventory, stock merchandise, and maintain an organized, safe, clean sales floor
- Assist with battery installations in select devices and vehicles
- Learn basic mobile device repair services (training provided)
- Support commercial account customers and help build lasting relationships with local businesses
- Work as part of a team to achieve sales goals while delivering an outstanding customer experience
Attributes We’re Looking For:
- Positive attitude with a proactive work ethic
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Retail, customer service, or sales experience preferred
- Comfortable learning and retaining technical products (no prior battery knowledge required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable transportation
- Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends
