Job Title: Assistant Manager – Dog Daycare & Boarding Facility

Are you a pet lover with leadership experience?
We’re hiring an Assistant Manager to help lead our dog daycare and boarding facility. You’ll play a key role in supervising staff, ensuring excellent animal care, and providing top-tier customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations of daycare and boarding services
- Supervise and assist staff with animal care and safety protocols
- Greet clients, check pets in/out, and handle inquiries
- Monitor dog behavior and ensure proper playgroup management
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility
- Administer feedings, medications, and special care
- Assist with scheduling, inventory, and staff training
- Use pet management software for bookings and records
Qualifications:
- Experience in a dog daycare, kennel, or animal care setting
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Comfortable working with dogs of all breeds and sizes
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Pet CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
