About the Role
AVL Lifestyle is looking for a highly organized and execution-focused Director of Setup Operations to lead our Done-For-You (DFY) property setup division.
As we continue scaling from approximately 20 to 50+ property setups per month across multiple U.S. markets, we're looking for an experienced operations leader who can build systems, manage regional teams, improve efficiency, and ensure every property is delivered on time and on budget.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced operations, enjoys building repeatable processes, and has experience managing large-scale projects across multiple markets.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the complete property setup calendar across all active markets.
- Lead project management from setup scheduling through completion.
- Recruit, onboard, manage, and optimize contractor and labor teams in each market.
- Develop and improve scalable SOPs, including:
- Furniture SKU standards
- Installation playbooks
- Quality control checklists
- Monitor setup timelines and ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Improve setup costs, operational efficiency, and overall profit margins.
- Coordinate closely with Client Success Managers and clients to ensure seamless project handoffs.
- Track KPIs and continuously improve operational performance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Operations, Hospitality, Property Management, Construction Project Management, or Renovation/Refurbishment leadership.
- Proven experience managing operations across multiple cities or markets.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience hiring, managing, and scaling contractor or field teams.
- Comfortable making operational decisions, solving problems quickly, and improving systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Compensation
- Total Compensation: $95,000–$135,000
- Base Salary plus performance bonuses tied to:
- Setup completion timelines
- Cost per unit improvements
- Quality standards
- Operational performance
